Theatre Design
(Set and costumes)
I have designed sets for Dance and Theatre companies in Spain, Italy and the UK.
I like to try to understand the essence of a show, or the concept of the Director/Choreographer, before embarking in any design process.
There is a strong influence of Visual Arts concepts and technical resources, and I’m more interested in physical elements than in projections and other 2D technological tricks.
Whenever I can I like the design process to be interactive, to establish an ongoing dialogue that is an integral part of the creative process.
