Some of my works take on a certain three-dimensionality through the way they inhabit the space, or through their interaction with the spectator. I’m interested in how human groups change the space around them through a collective creative experience. Very often 3D structures remain as the  outcomes or remains of performance work.

I’m also always looking for found objects, things that bear the mark of being used and then discarded. Part of this quest could include objects that have been subject to a sudden event (explosion, accident) and whose shape reflects this unpredictable dynamic.

In many of my paintings there is a clear reference to the way altarpieces combine painting, sculpture and architecture, and I sometimes work on more traditional  relief figures that inhabit them.
